ECamm Network has updated its Mac software that automatically records Skype calls. In a significant release, Call Recorder 1.0.4 adds uncompressed and 2:1 compression encoding options for recordings, as well as introducing the facility to record voicemail messages. The software also offers some built-in audio conversion utilities: convert to AAC and convert to AIFF and Split Movie tracks. French and Spanish localization (when used with Skype 1.5) also appears in this release. The recording window will now automatically hide after a call if it was automatically shown at the beginning of the call. The update is free to registered owners. The software costs US$12.95.
