If you've been on the net for any amount of time, then you'll know that Keywords play an important part in every day life on the net.

If you want to search for anything, then you'll go to a search engine, then you'll type in what you're looking for, this is a keyword. Imagine if the search engines didn't have these, we wouldn't be able to find anything on the net.

Keywords are integral in various occurrences on the net, people search for them when looking for something, people use them in their websites, so that the search engines will hopefully think their important and index them high on their site. Then people will find their site, it is such a phenomenal game trying to get all this right.

Keywords for general searching:

For general day-to-day searching you will just type in a word you're interested in, for instance, if you're looking for a mountain bike, you would type in, 'mountain bike' or bikes.

Then the search engine will look in it's large data base, for the words, or 'Keywords' relating to 'mountain bike'.

See how important keywords are. We'd be lost without them, we wouldn't have the luxury of just going to say, Google and type in 'mountain bike'. We'd still have to go to libraries etc.

Keywords for business:

Now things get interesting, did you know how business utilize keywords, they rely heavily on them. There's a thing called SEO, it stand for Search Engine Optimization and what it means basically, that if your website is highly optimized, then you'll get ranked high in them, if you don't then forget it.

So, you see using keywords in their websites is crucial for their business, so how do they do it. Well first they'll have to determine what market their going to be targeting, then they'll have to do some research. What a lot of people advocate is that you have to go for high paying keywords, especially if your focusing on Adsense.

But where do you find all these keywords? Well there are so many ways to find them, you can use software, online programs and if you're a member of Google Adwords, then you can use their inbuilt keyword suggestion tool.

Just as you can use Overtures suggestion tool, I will list some of these below.
