In Singapore, Singaporeans have porridge anytime of the day, but usually for breakfast.

The viscousity of the porridge depends very much on the ethnicity of the hawkers.

There is a wide variety of porridge to choose from. You can choose one served with pork slices, shredded chicken, cuttlefish slice, fish slice and century eggs to name a few.
