Your Builder The most significant step in guaranteeing your home's beauty and quality is deciding who will actually build it. Floor Plan Once you've selected the site, we can begin developing your floor plan. Planning a custom home doesn't necessarily mean you have to design it from scratch, though we can always custom design a plan to your exact specifications. We also offer a selection of floor plans and designs you can build from directly or modify to fit your personal needs.
Cost Projection After the site and floor plan are settled, we can estimate a completed project cost. Our customized projection process allows you the most control over the budget by estimating the basic structure cost of your home, then allowing you to add or subtract custom features like upgraded counter tops, flooring, and installations.
Financing With a projection of your final cost, Harrington Custom Homes can help determine your financing options. While we do not finance projects personally, we do work with a preferred group of highly respected banks and lenders in Austin.
Building Contract Before construction begins, we will work together to create a building agreement that specifies the dimensions and features of your home, the site plan, materials, draw schedule, and completion date. Our knowledgeable sales and construction professionals will work with you carefully throughout each step of this confirmation process.
Construction Once construction begins, you are welcome to visit the project site or bring guests to observe your new home's progress. If you decide to change any features and design elements during the building process, let us know immediately. Our skilled craftsmen are very flexible and can usually deviate from the architectural plans without trouble.
Warranty Any well-built home should come with a promise of its quality, and every Harrington Custom Home is guaranteed, door-to-door for a full year. As a further assertion of our commitment to customer service, the home's structure carries a warranty for a full ten years. In some cases additional warranties may also apply.
