This list will cover the top ten beers brewed by Samuel Adams including Seasonals, Brewmasters Collection brews, and Extreme Beers listed in reverse order. Keep in mind this is my own personal list of favorites which caters to my taste buds. I will only list the beers and give the brief description straight from the bottle as I will probably get around to reviewing these beers as seperate posts at some point in the future. Now on to the list.

10 - Sam Adams Triple Bock

There is no description on this bottle so I will describe it on my own. This is a strong brew!!! Sam only brewed three batchess of the triple bock, perhaps on purpose...get it...triple? The only years these were available are '94, '95, and '97. They are supposed to get better with age. I only threw this on the list for the wow factor because it honestly doesn't taste all that great - it is just, well, cool.

9 - Sam Adams Double Bock

In the brewing tradition of crafting unique and rare brews, we bring you Samuel Adams Double Bock. This rich and full-bodied brew has centuries of brewing tradition. Bavarian hops and four times the malt of other brews give this hearty brew a rich and bold flavor.

8 - Sam Adams Cherry Wheat

Celebrating a centuries old American tradition of brewing with native ingredients, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat combines Michigan cherries with a generous portion of wheat malt to produce a bright, lively ale with a crisp finish.

7 - Sam Adams Octoberfest

We brew Samuel Adams Octoberfest to celebrate the arrival of Autumn. This Octoberfest is rich with a blend of four malts, carefully balanced with hand-selected Noble hops. Samuel Adams Octoberfest is brewed in a classic style in the finest American tradition.

6 - Sam Adams Boston Ale

We first brewed this classic American ale to celebrate the opening of our Boston brewery. Originating in Boston over a century ago stock ales are aged carefully in cool rooms called "stock cellars". This ale is smoother than most ales and richer than most lagers with a round, robust taste.

5 - Sam Adams White Ale

This unfiltered wheat ale is a fresh American version of a classic Belgian white ale. An intricate blend of unusual spices creates its distinctive and refreshing taste. White Ale is uniltered and displays a beautiful cloudy haze with a fine sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

4 - Sam Adams Winter Lager

For centuries, brewers have crafted special beers to celebrate winter. In this tradition, we brew our Samuel Adams to share with friends. This rich and hearty dark lager is one of the finer pleasures of a winter evening.

3 - Sam Adams Summer Ale

Refreshing, crisp, and tangy, this Summer Ale is brewed with wheat malt, lemon zest, and Grains of Paradise, a mysterious brewing spice used by Renaissance brewers centuries ago. Summer Ale is an American wheat ale from one of America's original craft brewers.

2 - Sam Adams Black Lager

This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish.

1 - Sam Adams Chocolate Bock

For centuries, the world's finest brewers have created rich, complex dark beers known as bocks. The best bocks, like Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock, display many layers of luxurious flavors. For our bock, only hand-selected hops from the world's oldest growing area are combined with a complex selection of carefully roasted malts and a centuries old brewing process. Finally, the beer is slowly aged on a bed of rich chocolate that is specially blended by the master chocolatiers at Scharffen Berger Chocolate. This aging on special chocolate creates a flavor like no other.

I hope you enjoyed reading my Samuel Adams Top Ten Beer list.

Cheers!
