I see the need of technology growing by leaps every year. I see people like me increasing their PC memory for more comfort. I see the memory getting cheaper. I see different Storage devices increasing their storage space. I see people playing in GB(Giga bytes). Did anyone think about GB when there was the 80486. Answer is a straight NO. I see the need for STORAGE MEMORY So understand the need of an average PC. Is this trend going to go on and on and progress?

What will be the medium of data storage in the future? How will the data be actually stored? Will it be the usual storage media such as hard disk, servers ,etc. So how will the data be stored in the year 4010.

I will start with one of my idea. The year is 4010. As we have the electricity poles and the wires that connect every area with the main power unit ,the data storage will be somewhat of this. Yeah ...yeah we have heard of types of networks like the WAN(Wide Area Network) which connects long distance areas like countries. Yes, there will be a big powerful server module located on the outskirts somewhere. Also as we have the electric meters for every house, we will have such meters that will tell us how much data we have stored on the server till now. Once the data is stored don't bother to think about the maintenance of it cause we will be paying for it. We also will have an unique number that will differentiate us with the other users on the server. And no talking about less storage memory on your computer. No pop-ups like ,"LOW DISK SPACE" your computer will ever give you. Unlimited usage of memory to store. So you will never need to create a backup folder.

Ok.....so what will be the computers we will use? The computers that we will be using will only display the GUI(Graphical User Interface). Yes, no hard disks. Your Operating System will load from the server. The technology will be more of the usage of radioactive waves. This technology will be similar to what we have in mobile. You will be given an option for stating the amount of space you want to reserve for yourself. After some time period you can edit the space. That much storage memory will be allocated in the server with your id. The monthly bill amount for all this process will be redeemed from your credit card or e-card on your PC. No one will be able to actually ever peak into your data. The organization managing such thing will be like the SWISS bank, not of any religion or country. The organization will be managed by artificial intelligence and will be situated at a place where even your thoughts cannot reach. THE MOON.

Yes ..the one and the only MOON. Ample amount of land area for development. Now we are planning to live on the moon. I can definitely tell you that till the year 4010 we would have set colonies on the moon. And our main STORAGE SERVER will be there on the MOON since there will be no land left on the earth to set up a server of such immense power and strength. Things Like global warming would have shown their evil faces till then. So how the server on the moon look like. Like most people will think like the usual Science-Fiction movies. The server on the moon will be underground. Working with the help on SOLAR ENERGY SHIELDS , this massive gigantic server will show its presence even from the earth like an alternative source of light other than the sun. I call it an alternative source of light because where the sun would not reach some places, so the solar shields will reflect the sun like a mirror and throw sunlight on that place.

Anyways lets come to the point. There will be different mediums discovered till then of storing data. We will have all the tools with us to react to such requirements. Think of all the manipulations we can have to our environment when we have such a thing on the MOON. Everywhere you go you will see only one thing, DATA .
